We started Vertex Labs to build software the way we'd want it built ourselves — with experienced engineers, clear communication, strong architecture, and ownership from idea to production.

What does Vertex Labs specialize in?
Product engineering: building new software products, extending existing engineering teams, modernizing legacy systems, and adding AI capabilities to real products. Most of our work is SaaS, web and mobile applications, backend systems, and AI-powered features.
Can Vertex Labs work with our existing engineering team?
Yes. Our engineers work inside your repositories, backlog and communication channels, join your standups and reviews, and follow your engineering standards.
Do you work with international companies?
Yes — international companies are who we build for, including teams in the US, UK and Australia. We're based in Nepal (GMT+5:45) and agree on shared working hours at the start of every engagement.
Can you take over an existing codebase?
Yes. We usually start with a technical assessment of the code, architecture and infrastructure, stabilize the critical paths with tests and monitoring, and then continue development from there.
Can you build an MVP from scratch?
Yes. We help define the smallest useful first release, design an architecture that won't need to be thrown away, and take it from first commit to production.
Do you provide dedicated developers?
Yes. You can add a single dedicated engineer or a full product team — backend, frontend, full-stack, mobile or AI — working exclusively on your product.
What technologies do you work with?
Mainly React, Next.js, React Native and TypeScript on the frontend; Python (FastAPI, Django) and Node.js on the backend; PostgreSQL, Supabase, Redis and vector databases for data; LLMs, RAG and agents for AI; and AWS, GCP, Docker and CI/CD for infrastructure.
How does a project typically start?
With a conversation with an engineer about what you're building. From there we either scope a first milestone or start with a short discovery or technical assessment, so both sides know exactly what will be delivered before larger work begins.
Do you work on long-term engagements?
Yes. Many engagements start as a focused project and continue as a long-term dedicated team, so the same engineers keep building context on your product.
Do you sign NDAs?
Yes. We're happy to sign an NDA before you share details of your product, and you own the code and intellectual property we produce for you.
